53rd Annual Potter Lecture

Please join us for the 53rd Annual Potter Lecture on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 7-9 p.m. in the CUB Auditorium, 177. Admission is free.

This Year’s Speaker will be Dr. Elliott Sober, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He lecture is titled, “Darwin and Inteligent Design.” Professor Sober is a leading figure in the philosophy of biology, and has written extensively on the subject.

His numerous contributions include nine sole-authored books, two co-authored books, two edited or co-edited anthologies, and over 200 peer-reviewed articles appearing in a wide range of journals spanning the disciplines of philosophy, biology, and psychology
