Statewide fall courses cultivate farmer success

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Extension’s Cultivating Success courses are designed to make starting and maintaining a farm business easier. The courses are offered regularly in counties across the state and can be taken in any order. Registration is open for fall courses.

Youth expand learning on farm business field trip

BREMERTON, Wash. – Structured learning and encouragement from adult volunteers/mentors plays a vital role in helping young people achieve success in life. Washington State University Extension 4-H youth recently explored career opportunities and a new international business model, as well as cool tractors, on a machinery field trip.

July 11: Youth livestock focus is on quality assurance
