A valuable auto part was cut from a WSU vehicle that had sat largely idle on the Pullman campus during the pandemic and damage to a nearby truck also has been discovered.
The Reimagining Public Safety in Pullman summit is taking place Nov. 9 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Registration can be done online and must be completed by Nov. 2.
The reactivated board, which consists of about a dozen faculty, staff and students, provides WSU officers with perspective on police and community relations.
Those signed up will receive text messages, phone calls and emails—all of which will be clearly identified as test messages.
PULLMAN, Wash. — The Pullman Police Department notified the Washington State University Police Department that a shooting occurred adjacent to the Pullman campus in the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 29.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University is reminding drone-owning students returning to campus for the spring semester that Federal Aviation Administration regulations now require many unmanned aircraft systems to be federally registered and that none may be flown within five miles of existing airports, a restriction which effectively prohibits their use in the area of the Pullman campus.
