A technology year in review

WSU’s central Information Technology Services is pleased to share its 2020 annual report, reflecting on some of the biggest technology projects supporting WSU’s goals this past fiscal year.

While impossible to highlight all the work done by WSU’s central technology team, the report includes such projects as the implementation of Zoom videoconferencing, Canvas Learning Management System and Workday Enterprise Resource Program, as well as ITS’ technology response to COVID-19.

“ITS employees once again showed their dedication to supporting the mission of WSU,” said Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Sasi Pillay.  “In a year filled with uncertainty, our university community world-wide counted on ITS to support continued academic and business processes. Our staff collaborated with several organizations across WSU such as the Provost’s Office, Registrar’s office, Academic Outreach and Innovation, Finance & Administration and many others with a focus on the university’s needs today, as well as into the future.”
