The newest COVID‑19 testing site operated by the Washington National Guard debuts Thursday at the Merman-Valley parking lot near the Valley Road Playfields. This new site replaces the initial area at Steptoe Apartments, which launched on Sept. 8.

Students will be able to receive a free test at the new location tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. The National Guard testing site is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Other potential testing sites are being evaluated in coordination with Washington State University, with the goal of making tests available to as many students as possible.

Additionally, Cougar Health Services continues to offer free COVID‑19 testing for WSU Pullman students outside its building on campus. It is open for walk‑up testing appointments from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Metered parking is available near the Cougar Health Services building.

Students who are sick should contact their healthcare provider in advance. Also, students who would like to speak with a healthcare provider about any potential symptoms may also schedule a telehealth appointment by calling 509‑335‑3575.

So far in September, about 700 tests have been administered to WSU Pullman students.
