To mitigate the health risks posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the university has canceled August 2020 Commencement ceremonies at all campuses statewide.

While such a cancellation is unprecedented, it’s an essential step to safeguard the health of graduates as well as their families and friends.

The university invites Spring 2020 graduates to participate in future Commencement ceremonies. The university will resume its normal Commencement schedule once the public health risk recedes.

Graduates who rented regalia must return it by Monday, August 10 at 5 p.m. They should ship their items to The Bookie in Pullman, regardless of the campus from which they were rented. Detailed instructions are available at commencement.wsu.edu.
