The WSU Office of Civil Rights Compliance & Investigation (CRCI) is looking for feedback on the U.S. Department of Education’s new Title IX regulations outlining required procedures for handling complaints of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct.

An online forum hosted by CRCI is scheduled for 4–5:30 p.m., June 18 and information about the new Title IX regulations will be shared. The forum can be accessed by visiting the CRCI Training Schedule website.

Washington State University takes sexual harassment and sexual misconduct seriously and wants to involve the WSU community in reviewing the regulations. Questions and feedback on the new regulations can be submitted directly to CRCI before, during, and after the presentation via the online CRCI Feedback Form.

Schools receiving federal funding, including WSU, must follow these federal regulations. They are expected to be applied by institutions receiving federal funding by Aug. 14, 2020, and so it is very important to share your feedback or concerns now.
