WSU Insider moves to three times a week distribution

The Washington State University Insider push email will now be distributed three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The email, typically sent each weekday, was reduced to Monday and Thursday distributions following WSU’s aggressive response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Members of the News unit are still actively involved in helping prepare articles and other informational content about those continuing efforts, as are campus, college and departmental communicators throughout the statewide system. Much of the communication about the university’s response is being posted to the regularly updated COVID-19 website or used in other dedicated communication formats.

The move from a twice-weekly to a three-day a week email distribution is due to the large volume of non-COVID-19 related content being sent to the news unit.

Submissions to the Announcements section will continue to be posted and updated daily, as well as to the WSU Events calendar, though submissions to both services recently have been much lighter than usual as well.

Look for fresh daily WSU Insider lineups to return in the near future.
