What does success for the WSU system look like from 2020 to 2025?

That’s the overarching question about 600 members of the WSU community statewide will answer on Monday when they participate in a visioning conference focused on the direction of the university’s statewide enterprise for the next five years.

Among the topics to be discussed by conference attendees:

  • WSU’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT analysis)
  • The university’s core purpose/mission and values
  • The envisioned future, built around the Drive to 25 vision
  • Short-term goals that will move WSU toward its vision

All of the input gathered during the conference will be compiled and considered during the drafting of the first iteration of the WSU system strategic plan, which will be shared with the university community in January.
