Campaign for ASWSU Coug Health Fund kicks off Tuesday

Support the ASWSU Cougar Health Fund.

The WSU Foundation and Associated Students of Washington State University are joining forces on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 27, to support the ASWSU Coug Health Fund.

The ASWSU Coug Health Fund is a student-run, student-led initiative to support WSU students on all campuses in the areas of mental health and sexual-violence prevention. The fund will serve as a catalyst for campus programming, including education and training events. It will also provide useful resources for students, faculty, and staff.

Current ASWSU President Savannah Rodgers said, “It is critical that we support the ASWSU Coug Health Fund. Gifts will effect positive and lasting change at WSU and in the WSU community.”

Using the social media hashtag #GivingTuesday, WSU community members are asked to share ASWSU and WSU Foundation produced content on personal and WSU social media accounts.

“We are all Cougs helping Cougs,” Rodgers said, “and supporting this fund is a way to reinvest in our community and act on this creed.”
