Will Luers, instructor in the Creative Media and Digital Culture Program at WSU Vancouver; Roger Dean and Hazel Smith have won a first place Robert Coover Award from the Electronic Literature Organization for their novel about fiction itself called “Novelling.”
The perspective of four characters is revealed through remixing audio, video and text.
Additionally, Dene Grigar, director and professor in the CMDC Program at WSU Vancouver, and Stuart Moulthrop’s “Traversals: The Use of Preservation for Early Digital Writing” (MIT Press) has been shortlisted for the ELO’s N. Katherine Hayes Award for Criticism of Electronic Literature, which honors the best work of criticism of electronic literature of any length.
