Suzanne L’Amoureux has been selected to be the new faculty director for the WSU online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree offered through the Carson College of Business.
“I am thrilled to bring my experience and passion for online MBA programs to WSU,” L’Amoureux said, “and expand the breadth and depth of this great program for the Pacific Northwest and beyond.”
L’Amoureux was previously the associate director of student affairs and chief spokesperson for the online MBA program at the University of North Carolina, where she developed program strategy for more than 900 online students worldwide. One such effort was planning content for the global immersions of 100 to 450 students in Budapest, Hungary; Johannesburg, South Africa; and New York City.
From 2013 to 2015, L’Amoureux applied her executive leadership experience as an assistant director in the Office of Career Services for the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, a title she held after she earned her MBA and master of public policy while on campus.
As assistant director, L’Amoureux used her knowledge of Fortune 100 companies to develop a leadership and talent program for students, which resulted in the most job offers extended to graduates of any business school in the country for two consecutive years.
“Suzanne’s experience with top MBA programs, including online programs, as well as her project management background, will bring fresh perspective to WSU,” said Tom Tripp, Carson College associate dean of academic programs. “Thus, she is just the person to help us substantially improve and grow our online MBA. Additionally, her expertise in career services will help us develop a new career management course in our online MBA program.”
