Faculty, staff and student leaders at WSU Vancouver are asked to don their blue Week of Welcome T-shirts or crimson “Ask Me” badges to help students transition into the new semester.

From pointing new students in the right direction to answering questions about campus life, Week of Welcome volunteers help enhance student satisfaction, retention and increase campus unity.

If you don’t know the answer to a question, direct the student to the Week of Welcome Station near the Library or The Bookie. The Week of Welcome Station hours are:

  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Library
  • 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at The Bookie

This station is hosted by student ambassadors who are trained to answer most university-related question. For more information, contact Adriana Toth at van.amblead@wsu.edu or 360-546-9358.
