PULLMAN, Wash. – Andrew Kass, vice president of product development, platforms and operations at Tableau Software, will speak about the company and its role in the data revolution at a lecture, 1-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20.
The event will be held in 21 Goertzen Hall on the WSU Pullman campus.
Kass is responsible for server and cloud platforms for the company. He holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in computer science and engineering.
Tableau is a Seattle-based company that helps to transform data so that it is more useful for people. Their products provide their customers — from small businesses to global enterprises — with visual analytics, dashboards and analyses that help people better see, understand and make better use of large amounts of data.
