Flu shots are available on the Pullman campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Friday through Oct. 27.

The cost is covered by most insurance plans and no appointment is necessary. Flu Shot Fridays began Sept. 29 and enable WSU students, faculty, staff and community members to get vaccinated at the Washington Building. It takes about two weeks for your body to develop the antibodies that will protect you from the flu virus, so health experts advise getting vaccinated as early as possible. More information is available from Health and Wellness Services.

In Spokane, flu shot clinics were conducted for students Sept. 20 and 28. They also can go to any of the Spokane-area Rockwood Clinics if they missed the campus events.

In Vancouver, students can make appointments for flu shots at the Student Wellness Center, and plans are being considered for a general clinic in conjunction with the nursing program at some point for the entire campus.

In Tri-Cities, nursing students administered flu shots, checked blood pressure and blood sugar levels during a campus clinic Sept. 22.

In Everett, flu shots were available on campus Oct. 4.
