Campus climate forums continue next week

The University community is encouraged to attend system-wide forums that will take place in October to discuss campus climate and inclusion issues.

The next forum in the series is scheduled for noon on Oct. 16 on the WSU Spokane campus. Additional forums are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 at WSU Tri-Cities and at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23 online for Global Campus. See complete schedule of forums.

Mary Jo Gonzales, vice president of student affairs, and Victor Villanueva, Regents professor and Writing Program director, will host the sessions. Among the topics to be discussed is the role of the newly created position of associate vice president of community, equity, and inclusive excellence. A national search to fill the position is underway.
