BREMERTON, Wash. – WSU Kitsap County Extension and Kitsap Community Agricultural Alliance will host the 9th Annual Kitsap Grown Harvest Dinner 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at Olympic College, 1600 Chester Ave.
This event benefits the Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance. Tickets can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3056272 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Cost is $45 for individuals, $80 for couples, and $300 for a table of eight. Farmers and interns can attend for $30, and kids seven and under are free.
The farm-to-table dinner is led by chef Chris Plemmons, Olympic College culinary program. The dinner includes a reception, awards, silent auction and keynote talk, “Going with the Grain – Innovation and Tradition,” by Steve Jones with the WSU Bread Lab, http://thebreadlab.wsu.edu.
