Sept. 11-15: WSU Staff Appreciation Week

wsu logoPULLMAN, Wash. – Take a pause to celebrate the hard work of WSU staff at Staff Appreciation Week events from Sept. 11-15, sponsored by the Administrative Professional Advisory Council.

Employees at WSU can enjoy discounts, attend presentations and visit the recreation centers for free, as a “thank you” for their hard work to make WSU a great place.

All week, WSU employees can receive a 20 percent Bookie discount. University Recreation classes, the Student Recreation Center, and the Chinook are also free all week.

Each day, WSU presenters will offer professional and personal development, and social events, including:

Time: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Location:  CUB 210 (Jr. Ballroom) at Pullman, and Academic Media Services (AMS) locations. Register for the presentation through SkillSoft.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 12 – Ice cream social and HRS benefits Q&A

HRS personnel will be available to answer questions in Pullman, with AMS to Everett, Puyallup sites.

Time: 5-7 p.m. –  Appetizer discounts at various locations in Pullman: Cask, Porch Light Pizza, and Birch & Barley. Show your Cougar Card to be eligible.
