May 12: Teaching Fellowship proposals due

PULLMAN, Wash. – Proposals for Teaching Fellowship Awards are being taken by the Office of the Provost and the Office of Academic Outreach and Innovation through May 12.

Teaching Fellows are faculty members (tenure track or clinical) acknowledged as leading teaching scholars competitively appointed to the fellowship. All individuals selected will retain the title of University Distinguished Teaching Fellow throughout their careers.

Individuals interested in applying for a fellowship must complete the application form detailing a proposed work plan and clearly articulate how their work will benefit teaching and learning, broadly, at WSU. Teaching fellowships proposals may request up to $20,000/year and may be extended with sufficient progress in year one. Proposals must have the approval of the applicant’s department chair and college dean.
