Heatherly, McNicholas (l-r)

Chris Heatherly, WSU Army Military Science Department chair and lieutenant colonel, and Casey McNicholas, a WSU senior ROTC cadet, will speak May 30-June 2 in Brussels at the seventh annual conference of the European Institute for the Study of Military Ethics.

The event, held at the Royal Military Academy, is centered on the theme of “Restraint in War: Essential for a Just Peace?” Heatherly and McNicholas were selected from a number of applicants to speak on military ethics from the perspective of professional military officers.

ROTC has been a proud part of Washington State University since 1892. The program commissions approximately 20 Army officers per year. For more information on ROTC, contact Garry Nestler, 509-335-7394.
