Joireman named co-editor of Journal of Environmental Psychology

Jeff Joireman, WSU Carson College, marketingJeff Joireman, associate professor of marketing at WSU’s Carson College of Business, has been appointed co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Environmental Psychology – along with professor Florian Kaiser of Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Germany.

The Journal of Environmental Psychology is the leading international journal in environmental psychology. The journal publishes articles focusing on the scientific study of the transactions and interrelationships between people and their physical surroundings (including built and natural environments, the use and abuse of nature and natural resources, and sustainability-related behavior).

Prior to his appointment, Joireman served on the editorial review board of JEP for many years, and last year served as one of two associate editors for the journal.

He and Paul Van Lange, VU University Amsterdam, co-authored the book “How to Publish High-Quality Research.”  He has published over 55 articles, many in leading journals.
