wineSEATTLE – Proceeds from winemaker dinners at various Seattle locations will support Children’s Hospital and Washington State University viticulture and enology research. Hosted by Auction of Washington Wines, the wine-paired meals begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 21, and cost $150.

Guests will learn about food and wine from top chefs and winemakers. Find locations and menus and purchase tickets at http://www.auctionofwashingtonwines.org/events/spring-winemakers-dinners.

The auction is the largest private donor to WSU’s viticulture and enology research program, accounting for more than one-quarter of its funding. Since 2011, the event has contributed over $2.4 million to WSU research that benefits the Washington wine industry.
