April 7-9: Recreation specials for Mom’s Weekend

PULLMAN, Wash. – Moms can get in free to the Student Recreation Center or Chinook Center with their students during Mom’s Weekend at Washington State University April 7-9.

If they want to enter on their own, however, they will need to purchase a $10 special event weekend pass for Thursday-Sunday or a $5 guest day pass to enter the SRC.

Special activities for moms are planned by University Recreation. Get details at http://urec.wsu.edu/special-events/moms-weekend/. Activities include:

* Free fitness classes for students and moms.
* Mom’s Tea and Spa: Appointments are 30 minutes of massage, followed by 30 minutes of time for tea and dessert.
* Mom’s Challenge: Partake in a variety of fun group games and climb around on the high elements of WSU’s challenge course. There will be three different time slots.
* Open Climb: Saturday, April 8 at 10 a.m. on the SRC’s climbing wall.
