Frost, Kalt chosen to lead ASWSU

PULLMAN, Wash. – Jordan Frost and Garrett Kalt were elected Wednesday as the president and vice president of the Associated Students of Washington State University.

Referendum 46-02, to increase the student transit fee, passed with 54.6 percent of the vote. Referendum 46-03, to distinguish ASWSU officers from other students, was approved; 19.1 percent voted yes and 3.8 percent voted no.

Student voter turnout was 24.1 percent. The record is 28 percent turnout set in the 2016-17 ASWSU elections.
