March 9: Financial planning workshop with TIAA

PULLMAN, Wash. – A fun, interactive financial planning workshop for employees will be presented by TIAA in two identical sessions 9-11 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, in the CUB junior ballroom. Refreshments will be served.

Reserve a seat in one of the sessions here or phone 800-732-8353 between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time Monday-Friday.

“Postcards from the Future: A Woman’s Guide to Financially Ever After” is for all faculty and staff, though it will address the unique financial and retirement savings situations that women may find themselves in, such as fewer years in the workforce and longer life spans.

Attendees are encouraged to invite a colleague, spouse or partner to also attend.

Workshop retirement strategies will help participants:
• Identify your “retirement vision” – how much you’ll need and when
• Define simple steps to getting your finances on track toward your ideal retirement
• Learn the unique characteristics of retirement plans from 403(b) to IRAs to annuities – and which may work best for you
