President Schulz delivers first State of the University address

PULLMAN, Wash. — President Kirk Schulz delivered his first State of the University address Wednesday, highlighting his transition to the University and launching the Drive to 25.

The Drive to 25 is WSU’s institutional initiative to achieve recognition as one of the nation’s top 25 public research universities by 2030; learn more at https://wsu.edu/drive-to-25/.

Schulz praised the creation of the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, highlighted several high-profile construction projects in Pullman, such as the Global Animal Health Phase 2 building, and the university’s support for minority enrollment growth and public-private industry partnerships.
