WSU tallies 14 regional communication awards

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University staff recently earned 14 awards in the 2017 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VIII communication awards competition.

The annual competition – which attracted 511 entries – recognizes excellence in marketing, communications and advancement among the district’s 152 member institutions throughout the northwest United States and western Canadian.

“It is a tremendous honor for Washington State University’s talented advancement staff to be recognized as leaders and innovators by their industry peers,” said John Gardner, vice president of advancement. “Their work is critical to our continuing efforts to advance the university’s strategic priorities around education, research and outreach and to deepen our stakeholders’ understanding of WSU’s value and impact statewide and beyond.”
