WSU Pullman suspends operations for balance of the day

PULLMAN, Wash. – After initially announcing a two-hour delay in starting classes,  Washington State University today suspended operations on its Pullman campus for the balance of the day due to inclement weather.  All scheduled classes are cancelled and only essential services, including student housing, dining and health services, will be provided.

Only those WSU employees previously designated as essential to campus operations should report to work.

The university expects to resume normal operations tomorrow, January 19.

Employees who have reported to work are asked to take care when returning home.  It is recommended that employees wait until temperatures rise and leave before temperatures drop again. Extreme caution should be used on sidewalks and roadways on campus.

Human Resource Services will be open today with limited staffing to answer questions. 509-335-4521.
