Stream, watershed stewardship class starts Feb. 2

POULSBO, Wash. – Stream and watershed stewardship classes will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 2-March 9, at Island Lake John Horsley Community Room, 1087 Northwest Island Lake Road, in Poulsbo.

Hosted by Washington State University Kitsap Extension and its partners, the noncredit training is open to the public and taught by local and regional experts who will be available during the training and field sessions.

Opportunities for continuing education and involvement in volunteer activities around the county are included. Those who complete the training and volunteer 25 hours will earn a WSU Stream Stewards certificate of completion, hat and name badge.
