Jan. 19: Public square panel discusses MLK legacy

PULLMAN, Wash. – A panel will consider “Status of the Dream: Does Freedom Ring?” at 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in the CUB Butch’s Den (room L60) at Washington State University as part of the observance of national Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

In August 1963, King delivered his defining “I Have a Dream” speech, sharing his hope that America would rise up and live out its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”
