Dec. 8: WSU Press hosts annual holiday book fair

hollyberries-100x150PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Press will host its 25th annual holiday book fair 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Terrell Library atrium. Discounts of 20-50 percent on all titles, drawings for free books, and complimentary refreshments will be available.

Author and WSU executive chef Jamie Callison will personalize copies of his cookbook, “The Crimson Spoon.” New titles featured on a variety of subjects will include: super custody and chaos in the Walla Walla state prison; dividing the Nez Perce reservation; fur trade in the early 1800s; an environmental engineer’s personal history of the Hanford nuclear reservation; Ezra Meeker and hop farming; a regional classic reprint; and coach Mike Leach quotes.

Founded in 1928 and revitalized in the 1980s, WSU Press concentrates on telling unique, focused stories about the Northwest. For more information about the book fair, contact WSU Press at 335-7880.
