Nov. 18: State constitution, court rulings discussed

hugh-spitzerPULLMAN, Wash. – In recent years, the Washington State Supreme Court has issued constitutional decisions including striking down tax limitation initiatives and requiring the state legislature to spend more on public education.

Hugh Spitzer, state constitution scholar and professor of law at the University of Washington, will talk about this at 1:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in Bryan 308 as part of the Foley Institute’s Coffee & Politics series. Pizza and pop will be served.
