By category, the winners are:

Educational Moments: “Wildlife Sighting Antarctic Style” was taken on a wildlife observing expedition in Lemaire Channel, Antarctica, by Amelia Brown.

Landmarks and Landscapes: Brenna Hendrickson snapped her shot in Zermatt, Switzerland. The Matterhorn, she said, “takes your breath away and makes you blind, because of the altitude and the sun reflecting off the snow.”

Cougar Pride Goes Global: Gina McNulty sports the WSU Cougar flag during one of her many excursions outside Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Discovering Local Culture: “Europe has endless history, beautiful architecture and street performers,” said Dylan Tarver. “This photo showcases Prague’s personality in a way that makes you feel Czech culture.”
