Oct. 26: Foley hosts state House candidate debate

jennifer-goulet-left-and-mary-dyePULLMAN, Wash. – A debate between candidates for the state House of Representatives from Washington’s 9th District, which includes Pullman, will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, in Bryan Hall 308. It is hosted by the Foley Institute at Washington State University.

Incumbent Mary Dye, Republican, was appointed in May 2015 and elected in November 2015. She advocates for rural and agricultural communities. She is based in Garfield County.

Challenger Jennifer Goulet, Democrat, advocates for a stronger K-12 public education system and college affordability. She is based in Franklin County.
