Through Nov. 18: Exercise for Apple Cup Challenge

apple-cup-fitness-challengePULLMAN, Wash. – The inaugural Apple Cup Fitness Challenge between employees at Washington State University and the University of Washington will run Monday, Oct. 17, through Friday, Nov. 18. The winning school will receive the Apple Cup Fitness Challenge trophy.

The challenge is designed to improve health, wellbeing and team spirit while encouraging a friendly competition between WSU and UW. Participants who earn at least 225 points could win tickets to the sold out Apple Cup football game.

Employees must be eligible for state public employee benefits (PEBB) and must enroll in the SmartHealth wellness incentive program. For more information about SmartHealth, visit https://hrs.wsu.edu/employees/wellcoug/smarthealth-wellness-incentive/.

Participants will log their minutes of activity at SmartHealth and earn 75 points every week they track at least 30 minutes. Participants and top performers who log the most minutes could win UREC passes, tickets to other WSU athletic events and Cougar gear such as water bottles, bags umbrellas and more.
