Sept. 16, 27, 29: Policing, education, refugee crises considered

PULLMAN, Wash. – Policing and race in America, school funding in Washington and Mideast refugees in Europe are the topics of free, public presentations hosted by the Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service this month at Washington State University.

foley-talksThe politics of education in Washington will be discussed by Randy Dorn, state superintendent of public instruction, at noon Friday, Sept. 16, in Bryan Hall 308. The refugee crisis in Europe will be discussed by Miro Haček, professor of political science at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, at noon Thursday, Sept. 29, in Bryan Hall 308.
