PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Army ROTC cadet Claire Wineman won the Norton Healthcare Award at the recent U.S. Army Cadet Command Advanced Camp in Fort Knox, Ky.
The honor is given to a nursing student who excels in the application of critical thinking skills in decision making under stress. Wineman, a junior majoring in nursing, attended the camp as part of her pre-commissioning education requirements.
