RICHLAND, Wash. – A three-day celebration of Washington wines attracted hundreds of guests from across the Pacific Northwest and raised over $170,000 to support wine research and education at Washington State University.
On June 24, more than 130 industry leaders, WSU representatives, friends and family celebrated Chas Nagel’s legacy and raised funds for a microbiology lab in his name at the WSU Wine Science Center. He was WSU’s first professor of enology and a state wine industry pioneer.
