VANCOUVER, Wash. – To continue improving educational access to teachers, the Washington State University College of Education will launch an educational leadership program in South King County in the fall.

The program, administered by WSU Vancouver, will be geared toward people who want to become principals and program administrators, as well as teacher leaders who want to stay in the classroom.

“This is especially good for high qualified educational leaders in South King County,” WSU Vancouver educational leadership professor Sharon Kruse said. “We believe teachers will be appreciative of the additional access to coursework that is being offered.”

The focus of the program will be on social justice leadership with two options: a master of education (Ed.M.) in educational leadership or an Ed.M. with administrative credential.
