First deadline July 29 for commercialization funding

commercializationPULLMAN, Wash. – Researchers with near-market-ready technologies are invited to apply for grants to support the commercialization of their innovations through Washington State University’s Commercialization Gap Fund (CGF).

A letter of intent is required by the deadline of July 29. For details about the application process, visit the Office of Commercialization website at http://commercialization.wsu.edu/Researchers/CGF/.

The CGF provides financial assistance to advance technologies that are at the end stages of research but require additional development before entering the marketplace. Grants will be made to researchers with disclosed innovations or inventions that have a high degree of commercialization potential and who successfully complete the three-stage application process.

An initiative of WSU’s Office of Research, the CGF is managed through the Office of Commercialization and generously supported by the Washington Research Foundation.
