SPOKANE, Wash. – More than 60 area high school students will visit anatomy, pharmacy and nursing simulation labs and learn about health sciences careers 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Washington State University’s health sciences campus in Spokane.

The visit takes place during the Health Care Week portion of Greater Spokane Incorporated’s Business after School program.

Students will rotate through “Career Roundtables” to learn about medical research, nursing, nutrition and exercise physiology, pharmacy, speech and hearing sciences, and health policy and administration.

They will break into groups and tour the health sciences programs on campus and hear from WSU students about the programs.
