PULLMAN, Wash. – Students and faculty from Washington State University will help host programs for the public at the Palouse Discovery Science Center in Pullman through April.

March 22 Science Pub at Paradise Creek Brewery, 6-8 p.m.: Moon Bears and Elephants. WSU faculty Monica Bando and Gretchen Kaufman will discuss their research on moon bears, elephants and tigers. Subject matter will be geared toward adults.
March 26: Microbe Madness. The WSU molecular biosciences club will host education stations about DNA extraction, elephant toothpaste, plants, worms, bacteria and more.
April 16: Launch! Astronomy, space travel and weather education stations will be run by student volunteers from WSU to celebrate the center’s launch of a new innovation/creativity lab, a new planetarium and little learners 2.0 lab. The WSU 3D Printing Club will demonstrate 3D printing,
April 23: This Is Your Brain on Science. The WSU Psi Chi psychology club will host education stations. Participants will have an opportunity to hold a brain.
