small-space-container-gardenEVERETT, Wash. – A “Small Space & Vertical Gardening” class focusing on growing food in small spaces will be 7-9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Washington State University Snohomish County Extension Cougar Auditorium, 600 128th St. SE, Everett, in McCollum Park.

It is the fifth class in the Growing Groceries extension series about growing fresh, healthy food in an environmentally friendly way.

Instructors for “Small Space & Vertical Gardening” include Halstead, who has been growing food in spaces large and small for over 30 years, and Master Gardeners Rob and Richelle Taylor, who have worked with other volunteers to transform the gardens at Jennings Park in Marysville, Wash., with vertical structures.
