Ph.D. student earns international scholars honor

Andy-ScheefPULLMAN, Wash. – Graduate student Andy Scheef is one of 10 students selected internationally by the Council for Exceptional Children to join the eighth cohort of the Division for Research Doctoral Student Scholars. He will meet with other scholars and participate in the council conference in April.

Scheef (https://education.wsu.edu/ascheef/) is earning his Ph.D. in special education from the Washington state University College of Education.

He received a 2013-14 Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching and won first place at the 2015 WSU Wiley Research Expo in the international research category for his oral presentation.
