PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University football will host seven games in Martin Stadium in 2016.

“For the first time since 1999, the Cougars will play seven home games in Martin Stadium,” said athletics director Bill Moos. “Coming off our second bowl game in three years, I anticipate capacity crowds watching the Cougars play some of the top teams in the country.”

The Cougars will open Sept. 3 against Eastern Washington and travel to Boise State on Sept. 10. WSU will close out the nonconference schedule Sept. 17 against Idaho in Martin Stadium.

Following their lone bye week, the Cougars will open Pac-12 Conference play against University of Oregon on Oct. 1. WSU will conclude the regular season hosting University of Washington in the Apple Cup on Nov. 25 in Martin Stadium – the only non-Saturday game on the schedule.
