BLACK DIAMOND, Wash. – Forest landowners will receive legal tips and learn to keep their property secure at seminars presented by Washington State University Extension forestry specialists.
WSU Extension and King County will host “Forest Owner Legal Rights” 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, and “Forest Safety and Security” 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Black Diamond Community Center, 31605 Third Ave, Black Diamond.
The first session will feature attorneys talking about issues such as timber trespass, creating a family LLC (limited liability company), access easements and more. The second session will include U.S. Forest Service law enforcement specialists providing tips to reduce trespassing, dumping, vandalism, timber theft and more.
