Study abroad students win annual photo contest

PULLMAN, Wash. – Winners in the annual contest of photos taken by Washington State University students while studying abroad will be displayed in Bryan Hall during the 2015-16 academic year.

The contest is conducted by the Office of International Programs global learning department.

Winners are:

Lucas Briehl, Landmarks and Landscapes category, Krka National Park, Zagreb, Croatia: “Croatia was a beautiful and unique place! I tried my best to capture that beauty through what I believe to be one of my best photos ever.”

Raul Ramirez, Cougar Pride Goes Global category, the Louvre, Paris, France.

Tori Stevens, Living Like a Local category, Tanzania: “Ugali is a thick porridge made from boiling maize flour. You cannot go to Tanzania and not eat ugali.”

Tiara Webb, Educational Moments category, Carnival de Binche, Belgium, and Windows to the World category, Italy.
