Sept. 18: Author discusses attacks on judges

Melinda-Gann-HallPULLMAN, Wash. – The politics of judicial campaigns will be discussed at noon Friday, Sept. 18, in the Foley Speaker’s Room, Bryan Hall 308, Washington State University. Pizza and pop will be served.

Melinda Gann Hall, Michigan State University, an expert on state judicial elections, will talk about her recent book on campaign advertising in state court contests, including whether harsh attacks have adverse effects on voters or candidates.
