PULLMAN, Wash. – Students who are learning to be teachers will get three hands-on opportunities to practice as Washington State University future educators partner with the Palouse Discovery Science Center for two fun, public science days.
Visitors will investigate all things small during Microscope Mania 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. They will use microscopes to examine zoospores, pond water and more.
On Halloween, Spooky Science will explore such things as slime, dry ice, blood and stuff that glows in the dark. Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes to the event at 11 p.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.
Kids will dig into fossil formation, collections and earth history 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
