PULLMAN, WASH. – Washington State University’s Counseling & Testing Services is closed this week to move across campus. It will reopen Monday, July 20, as Counseling and Psychological Services in the Washington Building, consolidating all student health services in that location.
“The newly remodeled and expanded space will enhance the services and programs we provide and benefit all of the students we serve,” said Cassandra Nichols, director of Counseling and Psychological Services. “We look forward to welcoming the WSU community to our new location at an open house next month.”
“Sharing a location will allow for seamless collaboration between all student health services, make getting help easier for students and ultimately improve patient care,” said Bruce Wright, executive director of Counseling and Psychological Services and Health & Wellness Services.
Counseling and Psychological Services provides services and programs that promote students’ intellectual, emotional and social growth and development. In addition to individual, couples and group counseling, it offers workshops on topics such as healthy relationships, living with grief and loss, stress management and test anxiety.
Staff members are available to provide educational programs on these topics and more to campus groups and classes.
